Taos Whole Health is a Pfizer Covid Vaccination site. The Pfizer Covid Vaccine requires 2 doses in the primary series, given 3–8 weeks apart and is administered in the muscle of the upper arm. Vaccines greatly reduce the risk of COVID-19, including minimizing the risk of severe illness and death among individuals who are fully vaccinated. COVID-19 vaccines are effective, but studies have shown vaccine protection declines over time—especially with the Omicron variant. Booster shots are available at the Taos Whole Health Clinic to enhance or restore protection against COVID-19. At this time, children and adults aged 5 years and older are eligible for vaccination against COVID-19.
