Microneedling

Microneedling rapidly creates a pattern of microchannels in the treatment area that significantly increases the production of collagen and elastin to leave the skin smoother, fresher, and more uniform. Microchannels also create micro injuries which causes the body to send blood and growth factors to the area resulting in glowing, healthy skin. At Taos Whole Health we frequently use microneedling with platelet plasma to introduce growth hormone and growth factors to greatly increase the regeneration of the skin tissues.

By adjusting the depth of microneedling a variety of conditions can be addressed including pore size, skin texture, fine lines, minor scarring, and crepe skin treated with a shallow needle depth and deep acne scarring, surgical and deeper scars, and wrinkles treated with the deepest needle depth.
